David Riggall
Owner/Trainer/Instructor
David has been a police officer for over 16 years and has spent half of his time on a tactical team. He has trained new officers both in the field and at the training academy and has had extensive training in response to active events such as active shooters or anti-terrorism training. He has had special training in shooting, hand to hand combat and attended multiple tactical schools. He has been involved in dynamic entries, barricaded persons, hostage rescue as well as fugitive manhunts and warrants. David is a TCOLE instructor, TCOLE firearms instructor and a range safety officer. He also currently holds certificates in SWAT, Advanced SWAT, Dynamic Entry, Licensed to Carry instructor, Simunitions instructor, Ballistic Shield instructor, Response to Suicide Bomb Attacks, Active Shooter Response and served on the Mobile Field Force and the Field Force Extraction team.
Scott Banes
Trainer/Instructor
Scott has been a police officer for over 12 years and is a Sergeant on one of the tactical team’s within the department he works for. He is tasked with apprehension of violent and prolific offenders. Scott has trained new officers as well as conducts continued training with his team. He has been trained in all facets of firearms as well as personal weapons. His team responds to tactical situations within his city. Scott is a TCOLE instructor, TCOLE firearms instructor, range safety officer, reality-based training instructor, SIMS instructor, and SIMS Safety officer.
Nick Guadarama
Trainer/Instructor
Nick served 4 years (2000-2004) in the United States Marine Corps, and was in the Infantry attached to a Weapons Platoon with experience in explosives. He has been in Law Enforcement since 2010 and is currently attached to an SRT (Special Response Team) Unit with a local police agency. He has completed many tactical shooting proficiency schools, to include SWAT school and High Risk PSD (Personal Security Detail) School. He has proven his proficiency with many different firearm and tactical platforms to include shooting competitively. Nick is a TCOLE Instructor, a TCOLE Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, an ALERRT Adjunct Instructor, and an FX Simunitions Instructor. Nick also serves as a Reality Based Training OIC, Reality Based Training Safety Officer, and a Range Safety Officer with his Agency. Nick loves teaching and sharing his knowledge with others and believes everyone needs to possess the skill and knowledge to defend themselves and their families.
Preston Smith
Trainer/Instructor
Preston is a NREMT certified Emergency Medical Responder (Lic.# R1024353) and a TX Dept of State Health Services Certified Emergency Care Attendant (Lic.# 756805). He is an ECSI Certified Instructor in advanced first aid, CPR and AED, bloodborne and airborne pathogens, emergency medical response, and wilderness first aid. He is AHA certified in CPR as well as ARC certified in adult and pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED. He holds a NAEMT certificate in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care and a Medic 1 certificate from Lone Star Medics. He completed the EMR/ECA medical program at Training Division – Emergency Training Center with Certificates in EMR and Jurisprudence.
Jack Mills
Trainer/Instructor
Jack is a retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with 33 years of service and experience ranging from aircraft weapons, explosive safety, to senior enlisted leader. He has a wide range of experience in operational risk assessments and threat reduction along with advanced firearms training for military, law enforcement, and armed security. He owns Virtual Tactical Training Resources (VT2R) a company dedicated to advanced firearms reality based simulation and training. Jack’s certifications include Texas License To Carry (LTC) Instructor, Texas School Safety Certification Instructor, Texas Level III Classroom and Firearms Instructor; Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer, Texas Level IV Personal Protection Officer, NRA Certified Instructor, Certified Range Safety Officer, Master Simulator Instructor, Certified StressVest operator, Certified Ultimate Training Munitions (UTM) Instructor. He has a current Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance. Jack completed 100-hour course from Sheepdog Defense Group.
